Congress on Monday fielded six candidates for the Lok Sabha elections from Delhi with former Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit entering the fray from North East Delhi.

Former Delhi Congress chiefs Ajay Maken and Arvinder Singh Lovely will be in the fray from New Delhi and East Delhi respectively.

The announcement of candidates finally indicates that Congress will go in alone in the national capital and not in alliance with AAP as was being discussed intensely in political circles.

Former Delhi Congress Chief JP Agarwal will contest from Chandni Chowk seat which was earlier represented by Kapil Sibal.

Delhi Congress working president Rajesh Lilothia will be in the fray from North West Delhi, while former Lok Sabha member Mahabal Mishra will contest from West Delhi.

Congress is yet to announce it's candidate from South Delhi.
