Sukhbir Singh Badal detained during protest in Punjab

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has been detained by Punjab Police during a protest against the state government in Siswan, according to ANI.

Badal along with SAD supporters held a protest against Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on June 15.

Supporters of SAD tried to break the barricading while Punjab police used water cannons to control the heat.

The protest took place outside the CM’s residence.
