New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposals for appointment of two advocates and four judicial officers as judges of different High Courts.
In a meeting held on December 22, the Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna recommended for appointment of Praveen Kumar Giri, advocate, as a judge of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.
It also approved appointment of Pravin Sheshrao Patil, advocate, as a judge of the High Court of Bombay.
Among the judicial officers, the Collegium approved the appointment of Ashish Naithani, judicial officer, as a judge of the High Court of Uttarakhand.
It also recommended for elevation of judicial Officers, Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Pramil Kumar Mathur, and Chandra Prakash Shrimal, as judges of the Rajasthan High Court.
