After week-long deliberation, the new Congress government in Rajasthan led by Ashok Gehlot will induct at least a dozen ministers on Monday.

The new ministers will be administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Kalyan Singh at Raj Bhawan in Jaipur.

The decision about Cabinet formation comes a day after Gehlot and his deputy Sachin Pilot met Congress president Rahul Gandhi in the national capital. After the suspense over cabinet formation got over both Ashok Gehlot and Dy CM Sachin Pilot will return to Jaipur later in the evening

According to Rajasthan Congress spokesperson, the Rahul Gandhi has given his consent for Cabinet expansion.

However, the names of the ministers are yet to be disclosed by the Chief Minister's Office. According to the sources , the MLAs who are in race for the ministry include CP Joshi, BD Kalla, Shanti Dhariwal, Pratap Singh Khachariwas, Ramesh Meena, Harish Choudhary, Govind Singh Dotasar, Brijendra Singh Ola, Harish Meena, Saleh Mohammed, Rafeeq Khan, Udailal Anjana, Bhanwar Lal Meghwal, and Lal Chand Kataria.

Gehlot and Pilot were sworn in as CM and Dy CM on December 17 in the presence of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and leaders of several other opposition parties.

In the recently held Assembly election, the Congress won 99 seats and enjoys the support of six BSP MLAs and lone RLD MLA. The BJP had won 73 seats in the 200-member House. However, the election in Ramgarh constituency was postponed due to the demise of BSP candidate Lakshman Singh.
