The move comes a day after a court in Haryana’s Hansi town initiated proceedings to declare Swami Agnivesh a proclaimed offender. The court has given Agnivesh time till September 30 to appear before it on any working day.
The process to declare Agnivesh a proclaimed offender comes after the investigating officer submitted before the court that Agnivesh was inaccessible during six raids conducted by the police at his known addresses. A social activist Parveen Tayal is the complainant in the case.
