On May 19, the 23-year-old woman had reportedly attacked Sreehari aka Gangeshananda Theerthapada after he sexually assaulted her.

The victim in the Gangeshananda case, who reportedly chopped off the self-styled godman’s penis while resisting a rape attempt, has said she was forced to narrate a “made-up story” against the “innocent swami”.

On May 19, the 23-year-old woman had reportedly attacked Sreehari aka Gangeshananda Theerthapada after he sexually assaulted her.

In a letter addressed to the godman’s lawyer, the woman said that Ayyappadas, a man known to her and her family, hatched a conspiracy and asked her to chop off Sreehari’s genitals.
