India’s youngest drummer and four national record holder 14-year-old Siddharth Nagarajan has set a new record (fastest Kick Drummer) by achieving maximum kick beats in one minute on his drums and gained entry into the India Book of Records under the 15 years category.

Now the prodigy who has began drumming his way up at the tender age of two and half years has two Limca Book Records and three India Book of Records in his kitty.
Sidharth who is tenth standard student at the Jubilee Hills Public School set the record here in January. He used twin bass drum pedals linked to a laptop to record the kick beats. He did 803 beats in one minute “I have not used my hands and just used my legs to complete the record. So far no one has attempted this feat in the country,” Sidharth told Deccan Herald.
Born in the family of musicians Sidharth took lessons from his grandfather H M V Narayanan, a tabla player for KV Mahadevan, and his father Nagarajan, a percussionist and mother Vidya Nagarajan, a classical singer. His staged his first show on April 16, 2000, when he was barely 2 and a ½ years old.
Sidharth has been identified by the National Geographic Channel as one of the 7 genius children in the world.
