In a shocking incident, three school-going teenagers from Dharavi were drowned at the Dadar seafront on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Bharat Hanumanta (13), Anup Yadav (16) and Rohit Yadav (15).
They were students of Unan Mill High School.

The incident took place between 1130 to 1200 hrs. The Mahim police station has registered a case of accidental death.According to initial investigations, they were trapped in rocky shores because of tidal waves off the Dadar chowpatty.

Since the place where the incident took place is a rocky area and not frequented by public, apparently no lifeguard was present.
