As many as 30 individuals were taken into police custody following the clash while two cases was registered for trespassing and attacking the BJP office.

The tension rose after youth Congress workers tried to lay siege to BJP's state headquarters in Nampally, in protest against BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri's remarks against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. When the BJP workers resisted their move, Congress workers hurled eggs and stones at BJP workers, which had led to a clash between both groups. Subsequently, BJP leaders attempted an attack on Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress office.

Later, police resorted to a mild lathi charge to disperse BJP workers, who were staging a protest against the attack on their party office by Congress workers at Gandhi Bhavan in the evening.  When the BJP workers attempted to stage a protest in front of Gandhi Bhavan, the police took them into custody.

Meanwhile, Union minister G Kishan Reddy called the attack on the BJP office "goondaism".

"I strongly condemn the Congress party's goondaism, which targeted our office in Nampally, Hyderabad, inflicting severe injuries on our Karyakartas. It is deeply unfortunate that the state has plunged into lawlessness under the Congress government, where goons, thugs, and violence are being given a free hand. Goondaism has become the new norm under the Congress. Such violent attacks on our offices will not be tolerated at any cost, and I demand stringent action against these Congress goons,” he said.

Calling the attack a "cowardly" act, BJP MLA from Goshamahal, Raja Singh, demanded an unconditional apology from the chief minister, A Revanth Reddy.

“Such acts of violence are unacceptable in a democratic society and highlight the desperation of the Congress leadership. I demand an immediate and unconditional apology from CM Revanth Reddy for this shameful incident. Let it be clear that the BJP will not be intimidated by such tactics, and any further provocation will be met with a firm and decisive response,” Singh said.
