Coming out of the ED office, Vijay Devarakonda denied he promoted any betting apps. Instead he said he had only promoted legally allowed gaming apps and added there was difference between a betting and gaming app.

He stressed that gaming apps and betting apps are two different things, and gaming apps are legal. The gaming app sponsors various Indian sports teams, including the Indian cricket team, women's cricket team, Olympic team, and IPL teams, he added.

Vijay Deverakonda also said that he has provided his bank transaction details to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and claimed to have promoted only legal gaming apps.

He has requested media to remove any content that labels the app as a betting app, as it is actually a gaming app.
