Hyderabad: Telangana ACB (Anti Corruption Bureau) on Thursday questioned BRS working president KT Rama Rao for over seven hours in connection with the Formula E race case.
He was accompanied by his advocate, V Ramachander, to the ACB office as directed by the high court. His advocate had observed the questioning from an adjacent room.
After the ACB questioning, KTR told reporters that there has been no case of corruption. “I answered all ACB questions to the best of my ability. I told them I would definitely come whenever ACB calls me.
"The case filed by ACB is baseless. There's no substance in it. I told them this is a completely absurd case. I said this case was filed due to government pressure. When asked where the corruption is, there was no answer.”
He also added that thinking ACB can achieve something by filing a case against him would be foolish. "They simply asked the four or five questions that Revanth had written. I will fully cooperate no matter how many times they call me. I told ACB that this is a politically motivated case,” he added.
He was given a warm reception by his family members after he returned home from the ACB office.
