Mohan Babu's three children, Lakshmi Prasanna, Vishnu, and Manoj, are all actors. The Manchu family also runs educational institutions in the name of 'Sriniketan' and 'Mohan Babu University (MBU)' in Tirupati. Manoj also filed a complaint with the police, requesting protection from attacks by unknown individuals.

Mohan Babu, in his complaint to the Rachakonda police commissioner on Monday, said that while he was at his office in Madhapur, approximately 30 individuals, claiming to be associates of his son Manoj, forcibly trespassed into his residence in Jalpally in the Ranga Reddy district.

“They threatened my staff with dire consequences, evicted them from the property, and declared that no one could enter the house without their permission. These individuals, acting under the instructions of my son Manoj and his wife Monika, have illegally occupied my home and continue to threaten my employees. I fear for my safety, my valuables, and my property. I have been informed that these individuals are waiting for me to return to my house with the intent to harm me and instill fear, compelling me to abandon my residence permanently. All those individuals are antisocial elements and are causing fear and threat to life to those who are at my home, including me,” said Mohan Babu.

The veteran actor also said that he firmly believes that his son Manoj and Monika have orchestrated this plan to unlawfully take possession of his house through intimidation and force.

“I am a senior citizen aged about 78 years. Their actions, supported by hired individuals, pose a grave threat to my life and property. In light of these circumstances, I kindly request your immediate intervention to take necessary legal action against my son Manoj, Monika, and their associates. Evict my son Manoj and his wife Monika and the unauthorised individuals from my property. Provide me with adequate protection to ensure my safety and allow me to access my home without fear. Your prompt action in this matter would be greatly appreciated,” he added in the complaint.

Manoj, on his part, said that allegations by his father were false, baseless, and a deliberate effort to defame him and silence his voice. In a statement, Manoj asserted that he had never relied on his father for financial support or sought any properties, and that the claims made against him, his wife, Mounika, and family members were fabricated.

“It only surfaced after my public support for MBU students and local businesses who are being exploited by Vishnu (his elder brother) and his associate Vinay Maheshwari. I have substantial evidence of financial irregularities and exploitation, which I am ready to present to the authorities concerned,” Manoj said in the statement. He also said that he had been residing in the family house at Jalpally for over a year now.
