A massive explosion at an explosives factory in Telangana's Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district killed one person, leaving another person critically injured on Saturday. The explosion took place at the Premier Explosives Ltd factory in Pedda Kandukur. At least eight workers suffered severe injuries due to the blast. Two of them were in critical condition and rushed to a nearby hospital.
One of them succumbed to injuries, the other critically injured person was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. The deceased has been identified as M Kanakaiah from Bachanapeta. The person being transferred to Hyderabad has been identified as Prakash.
Upon hearing the loud explosion, the workers ran out of the factory. More details awaited.
