Hyderabad: Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has labeled Pakistan a global security threat, urging international cooperation to disarm and dismantle its nuclear arsenal. Speaking at the 'Urdu Journalist Awards' ceremony organized by the Telangana Urdu Working Journalists Federation in Hyderabad on Saturday, Owaisi delivered a scathing critique of Pakistan's recent IMF bailout, characterizing it as an "International Militant Fund" that would ultimately finance terrorism.

"These are official beggars," Owaisi declared, referring to Pakistan's recent $1 billion IMF loan. "The IMF is not the International Monetary Fund; they are giving the International Militant Fund to Pakistan. How did the USA, Germany, and Japan agree to this arrangement? Forget leadership, they don't even know how to manage a basic economy," he said.

Owaisi warned that the international financial assistance would not benefit Pakistani citizens but instead fuel cross-border terrorism against India. "The West knows Pakistan funds terror, yet they remain silent. That $1 billion won't go toward eradicating poverty, fighting polio, or empowering women—it will be directed at destabilizing India," he asserted.

The AIMIM leader also criticized Pakistan's military establishment for misappropriating Islamic scripture to justify their actions. "Pakistan has named their new military operation 'Bunyan-al-Marsoos,' which references a verse from the Quran where Allah says those who love Him should stand firm like a solid wall. But the same verse also asks: 'Why do you say things that you do not do?' The Pakistani Army and its establishment are hypocrites who conveniently ignore the complete message of the Quran," Owaisi said.

He pointedly questioned Pakistan's selective interpretation of Islamic values, "Did they forget to stand firm like a wall when they were firing on Bengali Muslims in East Pakistan?"

During his address, Owaisi further denounced Pakistan's attempt to lecture India on Islam while fostering religious discord within Indian borders. "You people sit there telling us what Islam is, but all you have are destructive policies aimed at disrupting peace here and creating conflict between Hindus and Muslims," he said.

The Hyderabad MP also exposed what he described as Pakistan's ideological contradictions, noting that "Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has an agreement with the Chinese Communist Party," suggesting an alliance of convenience that undermines Pakistan's claims of Islamic authenticity.

Owaisi called for greater global awareness of Pakistan's destabilizing role in the region and urged world powers to recognize the threat posed by its nuclear capabilities. "The international community must wake up to the reality that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal represents a serious threat to global security," he stressed, advocating for coordinated international effort to address this danger.
