Hyderabad: In a shocking tale of love gone wrong, an extramarital affair led to the brutal killing of a couple who were found murdered in Puppalaguda, Ranga Reddy district, on Tuesday. Narsingi police, who had launched an investigation into the murders, said that while her husband resided in Chhattisgarh, Bindu was living in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. Meanwhile, a young man named Ankit Saket from Madhya Pradesh residing in Nanakramguda became acquainted with Bindu, and their relationship soon turned into an illicit affair.

However, while Bindu was in an illicit relationship with Ankit, she was also involved in a romantic relationship with another man. This other lover caught Bindu and Ankit red-handed. Unable to tolerate this, he brutally attacked Bindu with boulders, resulting in her death. Later, he also killed Ankit.

The events transpired thus. On January 11, Ankit called Bindu from LB Nagar to Nanakramguda. Ankit then kept Bindu in his friend's room. The police confirmed the following day that the two had accompanied each other to the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple hill in Puppalaguda.

In a remote location, Bindu's other lover caught sight of them and assaulted her. When Ankit witnessed the attack on Bindu, he attempted to flee out of fear, but he too was attacked before he could escape.

Bindu's lover stabbed Ankit to death with a knife. Later, he also smashed both their faces in with a boulder, burnt their bodies, and fled the scene.

Police also said that a missing person's complaint was filed against Ankit at the Gachibowli police station and another for Bindu at the Vanasthalipuram police station a few days ago.

Based on this information, the police have concluded that the murdered were Ankit and Bindu at the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple hill. The police are also looking into the possibility of other people being involved in the crime by assisting the killer in murdering them. Narsingi police have formed three teams to nab the killer.
