Kranthi Drillman, a showman from Telangana, has officially been conferred a world record for stopping 57 moving fans in 1 minute, using just his tongue.

After it verified the record, the Guinness World Records also posted a video of the feat on X on January 2, 2025. In the clip, Kranthi is seen in front of a row of rapidly spinning fans which he stops using his tongue and with incredible speed and precision.

Kranthi achieved this feat during the filming of Lo Show Dei Record in Milan, Italy.

Kranthi Kumar Panikera, alias Kranthi Drillman, is based out of Suryapet, Telangana, according to his website, and is known for performing various daring feats.

He has appeared on multiple national shows, including the famed TV show India's Got Talent.

Other shows he has appeared in include the Zee talent show, the Tengo Talento Mucho Talento, India ka Mast Kalandar, Hindustan ka Big Star and the Big Celebrity Challenge. He has also auditioned for America's Got Talent.

According to his Instagram profile, he holds 4 Guinness World Records and has appeared in 5 Got Talent shows. He is also the founder of the NGO Kranthi Socio-Cultural Society.

Although Kranthi once aspired to become an IAS officer, according to a report in the Economic Times, but his focus shifted to his showmanship once he garnered fame and he has gone on to perform in countries like the US, Singapore, and Malaysia.

When not performing, Kranthi supports his family as a masonry worker, following in the footsteps of his father, Sattaiah, who suffered a paralytic stroke. His mother, Mallamma, works as an agricultural labourer.

When he began performing on television shows, he arranged for his family to watch him too. While initially concerned over his daring acts, they have reportedly supported him and his unconventional career, which has seen him give over 300 stage and television performances till date.
