The protesters, dressed in their traditional attire, arrived with sheep and goats in a mini lorry, raising slogans to press their demands.
Besides cabinet berth, they sought Rs 5,000 crores to implement welfare measures for their communities.
State Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud addressed the protesters, assuring them that state Animal Husbandry Minister Vakiti Srihari would also look into the demands made by them, party sources said.
He also said the call for a cabinet berth would be brought to the notice of the party leadership.
