Harun Ullah of Basti, Javed Ali and Kaleem, both from Pratapgarh, were arrested last night when they were allegedly trying to loot a jewellery shop in Aminabad area to purchase arms, police said.
During interrogation, the trio revealed that they were directed by Dawood's brother Anis to kill a builder in Mumbai and for this they wanted money to purchase fire arms.Harun, was earlier arrested in Mumbai in a loot case in 2004, while Javed had been a rape and murder accused in 2002 in Pratapgarh, police said, adding that they were trying to trace their criminal history.
