Three persons, including a woman, were injured when security forces fired pellets to disperse stone-throwing protesters in Hafroo village of Chadoora, in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
A police official said that youth pelted stones on a polling station in Hafroo, 22 kms from here, following which the forces fired pellets injuring three protesters, including a woman.
Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary seat went to polling in the second phase of the five-phase Lok Sabha election in the state, along with Udhampur-Doda seat on Thursday.
