The controversy surrounding the Centre’s proposed move to handover maintenance of Hyderabad’s law and order to the common governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, E S L Narasimhan, is refusing to die down as the TRS has decided to stall the Lok Sabha proceedings on Monday.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has already directed the TRS parliamentary party to raise the issue in Parliament and, if possible, draw the attention of the nation by stalling the proceedings. He sought the help of floor leaders of other political parties on the issue.

The TRS has decided to give notice for an adjournment motion and seek suspension of the question hour. The party is hoping that KCR’s daughter K Kavitha, an MP, will be able to present the issue as usurpation of a state government’s powers and seek a debate, where as the lone TRS member in Rajya Sabha K Keshav Rao will put forth the issue in the Rajya Sabha.
