The doctors attending on the two and a half month old infant just could not understand the reason behind his continuous cries. They, however, did understand that the child was in extreme pain.

An X-Ray, which was later conducted on the infant, revealed something that shocked the doctors. The little body had as many as 24 pins at different places. The shocking incident was reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli district, about 80 km from here.Satyakshi Srivastava, the mother of the infant Hardik, and a resident of Anuruddhpur village in the district, said that her son seemed to be in pain as he would just not stop crying.

A worried Satyakshi approached the doctors at the district hospital on Saturday. After initial investigation, the doctors recommended for an X-Ray. Dr Altaf Hussain, the doctor, who examined the X-Ray, was shocked to see a large number of pins in the body of the infant. “There were at least two dozen pins in his body at different places,” he said.

The doctor said that the pins were in thighs, stomach, legs and in some other places also. The doctor suspected that some kind of exorcism might have been performed on the infant.
