The rally was addressed by Trinamool chief and union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.
"He has been picked up from the Naihati area. After Banerjee left and the meeting was over, we picked him up. Right now he is in police custody," sub-divisional police officer Ajay Kumar Thakur told IANS.Subhranshu Roy is a Trinamool Congress candidate in the West Bengal assembly polls.
