A marriage in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur quickly turned sour when the newly-wedded bride's demands shocked the family leading to a heated dispute, which eventually ended up in both the families knocking on police' doorstep.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, on the couple's first night together, the bride asked the groom for beer, marijuana (ganja), and goat meat. Shocked and confused, the groom initially gave into her request for beer. However, things took an ugly turn when the bride insisted on her demands for rest of the items.
Exasperated by such demands, he ran to his family for help and told them about the situation. However, the family became uncomfortable with bride's demand for intoxicants and decided it was best to seek the help of the police.
