Lucknow: Prime minister Narendra Modi on Friday met the family members of Shubham Dwivedi, who was among the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Modi met the family at Kanpur’s Chakeri Airport during his visit to Kanpur.
Shubham’s uncle Manoj Dwivedi said that the prime minister became emotional when he met the family. Shubham’s wife Eshanya could not stop her tears during the meeting and was consoled by the prime minister.
Eshanya later said that she thanked the prime minister for taking a tough stand on terrorism.
The family was driven to the airport by a senior official for the meeting. Shubham, a Kanpur based businessman, was shot dead by terrorists at Pahalgam.
