Lucknow: Several political leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, took to microblogging site X to extend birthday wishes to Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, who turned 52 on Tuesday.
In a post on X in Hindi, Chief Minister Adityanath said, "Heartfelt birthday greetings to former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Shri Akhilesh Yadav ji!"
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also wished Yadav. Maurya prayed for the Samajwadi Party leader's good health and long life, adding, "May you be blessed with good health and longevity by the grace of Lord Shri Ram, Lord Shri Krishna, and Mahadev."
Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati wrote, "Hearty congratulations to Samajwadi Party chief, former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and current Member of Parliament Akhilesh Yadav on his birthday today. Best wishes for his happy and long life."
UP Congress chief Ajay Rai, while wishing Yadav, said, "I pray to Baba Shri Kashi Vishwanath Ji Maharaj for your good health and long life. Har Har Mahadev."
Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party chief and UP cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar also wished Yadav good health and long life on his birthday.
Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and Apna Dal (S) president Anupriya Patel extended wishes on behalf of "the entire Apna Dal family".
"I pray to God for your good health and long life. May you continue to progress and achieve fame on the path of public service," Patel said in her post.
UP minister and NISHAD party president Sanjay Nishad said, "May you have good health and a long life with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, Lord Krishna and Maharaj Guhyaraj Nishad."
Akhilesh Yadav, who currently represents Kannauj in the Lok Sabha, turned 52 on Tuesday.
Born on July 1, 1973 in Saifai village of Etawah district, he is the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was the founder of Samajwadi Party, former defence minister, and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
