A video from an Indian wedding, nothing short of a Bollywood movie filled with shocking twist and turns, is doing rounds on social media.
In the video, the groom holding a garland in his hand, is seen waiting to complete the ceremonial wedding rituals. Just when he is about to exchange the garland with the bride, a lady, believed to be his ex-girlfriend, storms out at him on the stage.
The lady is seen hitting the groom, leading him to tumble and fall on the stage, while all the guests and the bride watch drama in silence.
She pulls him up and then what follows is what seems to be a heated argument between the two. The video seems to be quite intense although the audio cannot be properly heard. However, it gives out a clear sense of confrontation that was taking place between the groom and the lady.
After the video went viral, comments have been pouring in from several amused users, wherein several also compared the incident to a Bollywood movie. Some users even called it a fake video that was only made with the intention of making it viral.
In yet another bizarre incident from a UP village, a groom left his own marriage ceremony as he was enraged over a delay in food being served.
Not only did the groom abandon the bride, he also went and got married to another girl.
The wedding celebrations and customs began smoothly, the groom's side was warmly welcomed by the bride, later they even offered them food and sweets. But, things took a turn for the worse after a member from the groom's side complained about rotis being served late.
Things soon escalated with the groom and his family becoming hostile and throwing a tantrum at the ceremony. During this chaos, the groom, Mehtab, quietly slipped out and left the venue.
It was reported later that he married another woman who was a relative of his. This act left the bride and her family humiliated.
