The AAP today said that it will decide the next course of action on the controversy surrounding Kumar Vishwas, accused by a party volunteer of not rebutting "rumours" about an illicit liaison with her, only after he receives a notice from DCW.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) had yesterday issued summons to Vishwas and his wife after the volunteer approached it claiming "false rumours" of his having illicit relationship with her were ruining her reputation and that he should come forward to clarify.
In a tweet, AAP leader Somnath Bharti said further course of action in the matter relating to Vishwas will be decided after receiving notice in this regard.

"So far @DrKumarVishwas has not received the notice from DCW n on its receiving v will decide next course of action @AamAadmiParty," he tweeted.

In another tweet, he wondered what happened to the complaint filed against him with the Commission and said, "Wish that DCW should focus on actually distressed women n genuine cases."

The DCW had summoned Bharti last year following allegations he had led a group of AAP workers, who misbehaved with a number of African women on the pretext of a raid on an alleged drug and prostitution ring in South Delhi.

The complainant in the matter relating to Vishwas claimed she had also written separate letters to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the police commissioner apprising them of the same.

She has alleged Vishwas took no action towards dispelling the "rumours" while Kejriwal did not take note of her complaint.
