Bitten by the love bug, the extremely beautiful Reena (Sharma) decided to quit her job and wedded an already married Ram Vilas who too was besotted with her radiant charm. Twenty-five years down the line, their son Chirag is making Bollywood debut.
Former Union civil aviation minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, too, was floored when he met Neelam Pratap, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, who was working as an air hostess with Indian Airlines.

Tall, fair and handsome, Rudy knew it was a love at first sight. The affair culminated into marriage. But when he took over as Union civil aviation minister, his air hostess wife proceeded on long leave.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi also had a love marriage. The hardcore RSS man entered into the wedlock with Christian woman Jessie George in 1986.

The love-struck list does not ends here. Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and senior RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui is married to a Hindu. So is Bharatiya Janata Party MP and former Union minister Shahnawaz Hussain, whose wife Renu is a Hindu.

Pappu Yadav also fell in love with a Sikh sportsperson from Punjab Ranjeeta Ranjan, before they tied the knot.

Among the current crop of Nitish’s Cabinet, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shyam Razak had a love-cum-arranged marriage with Alka in Mumbai, where Shah Rukh Khan graced the occasion as a special guest. But there is one person who is dead against love marriage: Lalu Prasad, who has dubbed Valentine’s Day as a foreign culture.
