The Indian armed forces had launched precision missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including the strongholds of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.

The military strikes were carried out under 'Operation Sindoor' two weeks after 26 civilians were killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

On Sunday, India released the names of top officials from Pakistan who attended the funerals of the terrorists killed during the operation.

Hafiz Abdul Rauf is said to have been leading the funeral of the terrorists. In trying to portray a globally-sanctioned terrorist as a "common man", Pakistan was exposed when the country's top official publically outed crucial details about Hafiz Abdul Rauf, including his national identity number which matched details in the database of the US sanction list of terrorists.

Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt General Rajiv Ghai with Air Marshal A K Bharti, Vice Admiral AN Pramod and Major General S S Sharda addressed a press conference on 'Operation Sindoor', in New Delhi and noted that Pakistan Army top brass and Inspector-General of Police Punjab, Pakistan were seen at the funeral, offering prayers.

Here are names of top officials who attended the funeral:

  • Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah, appointed as Commander, IV Corps of the Pakistan Army, in Lahore was seen in the picture shared by DGMO. Shah has received Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) which is second highest civilian award, given to civilians and military officers by the government.

  • Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, Corps of Artillery appointed as officer commanding 11 Infantry divisions (GOC 11 Inf Div), in Lahore.

  • Brigadier Mohammad Furqan Shabbir, Cdr 15 Hybrid Mechanized Brigade (Hy Meh Bde), Lahore

  • Dr Usman Anwar is Inspector-General of Police, Punjab, Pakistan since 2023. Usman Anwar was earlier posted as an Additional IG Special Branch in Punjab and has also served as DPO Okara, DPO Sargodha.

  • Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bherth is a member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab and is serving as Minister for Communication and Works, additionally holding the portfolio of Minister of Law.

Earlier the names of the deceased terrorists were also revealed. Here is the list:

  • Mudassar Khadian Khas aka Mudassar alias Abu Jundal was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

  • Mohammad Yusuf Azhar alias Ustad Ji alias Mohd Salim alias Ghosi Sahab was a part of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed.

  • Hafiz Muhammed Jameel was affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was the eldest brother of Maulana Masood Azhar and was in charge of Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur.

  • Khalid alias Abu Akasha is affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir.

  • Mohammad Hassan Khan was affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed.
