According to the reports by News18, during the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the BJP’s renewed focus on strengthening its presence in the southern states, where the party still has a relatively small electoral base. He highlighted that Karnataka remains the BJP’s most reliable bastion in the region and the only southern state where it has consistently secured strong results.

PM Modi is learnt to have told MPs that it is essential for the party to win not just the “votes” but also the “hearts” of people in the South, particularly at a time when the BJP has been registering sweeping victories nationwide.
