Indian chess grandmaster and the reigning World Chess Champion D Gukesh met superstar Rajinikanth along with his family on Thursday.

In a post on X, he said, "Thanks Superstar @rajinikanth sir for your warm wishes and inviting ,spending time and sharing your wisdom with us."

The chess prodigy also had a fanboy moment as he had a special meet up with Amaran star Sivakarthikeyan.

After their meeting, Gukesh shared a series of pictures on social media, expressing his gratitude to the actor for taking time out of his busy schedule.

On December 12, 2024, Gukesh defeated Ding Liren of China, becoming the second Indian and the youngest world chess champion.
