The YSR Congress Party on Tuesday demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the huge money being traced at the house of Chiranjeevi’s kin and alleged that there was a quid pro quo in the process of Praja Rajyam Party merger with Congress.
However no political outfit complained about the cash with Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal. “No one has complained about the cash seized from Chennai. If there is a formal complaint we will look into it,” he said answering a question at a press conference in state Secretariat on Tuesday.
Chiranjeevi has already clarified that the raid is on a distant relative of his daughter’s in-laws and they are not connected with him.
Only one media house, Jaganmohan Reddy’s Sakshi, has fabricated the news he told media.
