Hyderabad: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has warned social media enthusiasts of severe action for recording reels in Tirumala.
“It has come to the notice of TTD that some people have recently been filming videos (reels) of people performing mischievous acts in front of the Tirumala Temple and uploading them on social media," said a senior official of TTD that manages the affairs of world's richest Hindu temple.
"Such objectionable and indecent acts are inappropriate in a sacred spiritual place like Tirumala. Such acts are not only hurting the sentiments of the devotees but are disturbing the spiritual atmosphere. Everyone should remember that Tirumala is a place of devotion and worship only,” he added.
The official added that it is everyone's responsibility to show respect for the sentiments of lakhs of devotees who come to have darshan of 'Srivaru'.
TTD vigilance and security personnel have warned that strict action will be taken against those who film such videos. Cases will be registered and legal action will be taken against those who violate the sanctity of Tirumala.
TTD appealed to the devotees to cooperate in maintaining the spiritual atmosphere and sanctity of Tirumala by not making indecent videos and reels of mischievous acts in Tirumala.
