Mysuru: BJP state president B Y Vijayendra said, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Sadhana Samavesha, scheduled to be held in Mysuru on Saturday (July 19), is to blackmail the Congress high command.
Speaking to media persons, in Mysuru, on Friday, Vijayendra said, “Whenever his position is in danger, Siddaramaiah does conventions and rallies. Even when the alleged MUDA scam issue was at its peak, he held a similar convention in Mysuru.
"He remembers and uses the Ahinda communities whenever he is in a problem. He employs this tactic, to intimidate his party's high command”.
Ahindais an acronym for Alpasankyatha (minorities), Hindulida (backward) and Dalit (Scheduled Castes), coined by Siddaramaiah in 2005.
He said, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not even give an appointment to meet Siddaramaiah in New Delhi. That is why, he is holding a rally in his hometown, to challenge them”.
“What great achievement has Siddaramaiah accomplished, to hold an achievement (sadhana) rally? A few significant political developments are certain to happen in Karnataka in November. All tactics and ploys have their own limitations. Congress leaders themselves tell that there is a two-and-a-half-year sharing agreement between Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D K Shivakumar. Now, Siddaramaiah would have to resign,” Vijayendra stated.
