Davangere: Police nabbed two persons including a minor boy in connection with drug case and seized 160 chocolates laced with drug and 1,165 grams of ganja.
According to police, one of the arrested has been identified as Raju (38). Acting on tip-off, the police rushed to Raju's house, who was running a paan shop near Ram & Co circle in the city and found ganja and chocolates. During the interrogation, they admitted that they had purchased chocolates laced with ganja from others and had been selling them to students of various colleges in the city.
The boy was handed over to juvenile justice board. Extension police registered a case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
In another case, Vidyanagar police nabbed a man on charges of selling ganja to public near SOG colony. Vikas (24) of Nituvalli, Davangere, is the arrested.
