Pregnancy is a beautiful process but at the same time it can come with a lot of side effects. Ordinary side effects need not require medication; they can also be helped using colour.

Colour can be utilized as part of everyday life to ease the woes during pregnancy.

Listed below are some of the colours and the methodology to incorporate them in one's daily life:

*  Orange helps to lift the spirits when the expectant mother is depressed and lonely due to mood swings during pregnancy. She could paint one of her walls orange which can help ease the mood swings with its warming effect.

*  Blue is a colour which gives a calming effect. This will help the expectant mother during her early active phase to stay calm and composed. If she has a blue vase around in her room, it can help release a lot of tension and keep her calm.

*  Green is recommended for pregnant women to create a serene atmosphere and calm frazzled nerves.

The way colour therapy is given is basically its role in day to day life. The colours of her dress, bindi, hair accessories, bangles and nail paints all depict her moods and emotions. The natural elements like surroundings, gardens, workplace, home interiors also add to that factor.
