I will not say it is an easy realisation to reach. You might find yourself wavering, unsure if the answer stands clearly before you. Let me help unveil it for you: it is an unwavering, profound inner peace.

Look into the sacred texts of any faith, and you will inevitably find peace at their core. Read the words of sages, prophets, and messiahs, they all speak of peace. For, where peace is absent, spirituality has not yet taken root. Without spirituality, religion by whatever name it goes, reduces itself to mere a ritualistic tradition, devoid of true essence.

Yes, spiritual beings may differ in countless ways, but one thing remains constant: they radiate deep, unshakable peace. They are not hurried in speech, nor do they feign silence. They simply act as the moment demands, in perfect harmony with their surroundings. Their very presence is an invitation, an offering guiding others toward the realm of peace they have attained.

And why do they seek to spread this peace? Because they understand a profound truth: as long as even a single soul in this world remains restless, the seed of discord has the potential to take root and spread, poisoning the entire world. Thus, with unwavering resolve, they dedicate themselves to planting peace in the hearts of all.

Where there is true peace and contentment, creativity flourishes.
Noble virtues awaken, paving the way for a more harmonious society. This is why we must embrace the methods that lead to peace. And among all such paths, meditation stands supreme, the highest and purest practice of them all. Meditation is always practised by the initiates always under the guidance of a living guru chosen by them on their own volition as it is a limb of the yog.

Yog is the state of being in union with the One whom we see as supreme. There is no point in choosing someone as guru who is not an apparent symbol of the supreme that one as seeker is looking forward to become in communion and union with.
