As we gear up for the impact of Trump’s tariffs, all eyes are on our crude trade with Russia. Sure, we got a sweetheart deal from our old Soviet-era friends, now at war with Ukraine.

But then, we also had a cosy thing going with America. And Trump especially. We said Namaste Trump and Trump said howdy Modi. Now Trump says he will encourage Pakistan to sell crude to India. Looks like we won’t be saying ‘oils’s well that ends well’ anytime soon.
