Leopard dies in Manda sanctuary in Jammu

An injured leopard on Monday died in Manda Wildlife Sanctuary here, Wildlife Department officials said.

The leopard was caught by the wildlife officials after it got injured in Dandsar forests area in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district last week. The animal was brought to the Manda Wildlife Sanctuary for treatment, they said. The leopard, however, failed to respond to the week-long treatment and died today, they said.
