Rescued deer dies of heart attack

The incident occurred near Central Sericulture Research and Training Institute on H D Kote Road. Though the residents of the area provided first aid to the injured deer and rushed it to the veterinary treatment unit in Roopanagar on the outskirts of the City, the animal passed away.

Range Forest Officer L Mallashetty said the animal might have died of shock for being in a foreign space. An autopsy was conducted and the deer was buried subsequently.
