BCCI issues tender for mobile, internet rights at Rs 3 crore/game

"The reserve price for the rights is set at Rs 3 crore per match, including test, ODI (one-day international) and T20 international," BCCI Secretary and President-Elect N Srinivasan said in a statement.

The tender notice issued today said that matches and video-on-demand content on the internet will be streamed with a time lag of five minutes in India. However, internet broadcasts will be live across the rest of the world.

Streaming on mobile phones will be in real-time in India, as well as the rest of the world.
The BCCI is selling the tender documents for a non-refundable sum Rs 2 lakh each and the last date for submission of bids is September 6.
