Yuki, seeded second, was down 0-3 in the opening set but fought tenaciously and scored an emphatic 6-4, 6-3 win over Vishnu. The win would come as a confidence booster for the young Delhi player, who leaves on Saturday to compete in junior US Open.

It was Yuki’s fourth singles crown in five month since winning his maiden title in April. Saturday’s victory is Yuki’s third successive over Vishnu with the overall score standing at 3-1 in favour of the youngster.

For Vishnu it was second successive runner-up finish, having lost to Korean Young-jun Kim in the final last week. “I was a little lazy in the start and normally it’s tough top pick up from 0-3 down. I am happy that I managed to beat him again.” Bhambri said.
