After living alone in a cottage for the past 10 years, Luo Runqi of Chongqing municipality began building his "dream castle" in December 2009, the Shanghai Daily reported Friday.
Luo wakes up at 5 a.m. every day, has breakfast and immediately starts work on the house. "I will give it to my wife as her 70th birthday gift."The castle - built in "European style" - has fireplaces and wine cabinets and the path to the main entrance is like a labyrinth, Luo said."I calculated and there would be 40,000 bricks to be laid, I can do about 400 bricks every day," Luo said.
