An important and historic win for Namibia. Problems for Scotland. That would be all from the coverage of this match. Join us tomorrow. Goodbye for now!
Richie Berrington, Scotland captain: Disappointing day for us. 20-30 runs (short). Hard to recover after that sort of a first over. We just needed to get a partnership. I thought Leask and Cross played well. 120 would have given us a better chance. It was important we put the AFG game behind us. We were confident today, but we didn't execute. We have few days to reflect and recover. Sticking together is the strength of our team.
Gerhard Erasmus, Namibia captain: Delighted to get another World Cup win, another proud moment for the team. From here on we have to lift our level. We are excited for the challenge. Hopefully, we can execute on those days. We all know we back each other. It was always about showing good intent. Luckily we got two partnerships to get over the line. Very delighted that he came out here and executed. Quite big. pretty proud moment. Small but very proud country. We owe it to them back home.
Namibian pacerRuben Trumpelmann wins the Player of the Match award for his spell of 4-0-17-3.
Ruben Trumpelmann:It felt great to win and hope to get a few more. I'm focused on the training, and happy to see that things went my way. I was nervous out there, but I thought, it's the World Cup, so why not enjoy it. I use swing as a weapon up front, so luckily it went my way today. We hope to win a few more, but this is massive for us.

Gerhard Erasmus, Namibia captain:We're having a bowl. The dew plays a big role and we have a strong bowling attack, so we hope we can perform. It was an emotional group stage, and we have to regroup after that. Wiese is a great performer, but 10 other guys are raring to go today. There's a lot of potential and we want to unleash them as well. We play each other often, so we know them.
Richard Berrington, Scotland's stand-incaptain:Kyle Coetzer is nursing a finger injury. Craig Wallace coming in for him. We are putting Afghanistan to one side now, and we are happy with the cricket we are playing. It doesn't throw us off, and we are ready to get back on track. Namibia are a strong side, but we are ready and raring to go.
Namibia skipperGerhard Erasmus wins the toss and opts to field first.

Hello and welcome to the coverage of match 21 of the T20 World Cup 2021. Tonight Namibia take on Scotland at the Sheik Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. This is Namibia's first match in 'Super 12' after they qualified for beating Netherlands and Ireland in the first round of the tournament. Scotland too qualified after winning all their three matches of the first round. But their 'Super 12' campaign did not begin well as they were beaten by 130 runs by Afghanistan.
