Kane Williamson: Look it was a tough game. It was never going to be easy against a class side like RCB. The surface was a little tricky and chasing anything on it wasn't easy. It was a challenge for us to restrict them to that kind of a total. They also had two world class spinners. We did well to go through their spells without losing too many wickets. Batting at 4 can vary a lot and becomes surface dependent. A few shots from Jason helped. The guys have been fighting hard. He(Holder) is cooler than me. The all-rounder role in the team has been well by him.

David Warner: As we knew we had to beat top three teams to make it into the play-offs. My nails are ok for the moment. They have been of great impact for us. We like to bowl Sandy and Holder five overs at the top. Then we try to bowl Rashid and Natarajan in the middle overs. Rashid has a lot of pressure on him to perform. Congratulations to Natarajan. Kane is our banker. He manages to stick in there and plays the pressure innings. I am running out of superlatives for these two blokes ( Rashid and KW). With the class of the batting line up, you knew that wicket had something in it. The boys bowled fantastically well in the middle overs. It is too early to say. We obviously have Delhi to play. We have been talking about their world class bowling side. But I am excited.
Virat Kohli: If you talkabout the first innings I don't think we had enough runs on the board. We made one helluva game in the second half, the positions we got ourselves into in the second half.. It is a game of margins and if Kane was taken there then it is a different ball game. Altogether they put us under a lot of pressure in the first innings. Few soft dismissals, few fortunate ones for them as well and we just didn't have enough runs on the board. Maybe a bit of nerves, maybe a bit of hesitation, we need to be more expressive with the bat. We didn't have any phases in the game where we got away from the opposition. We just allowed bowlers to bowl to the areas they wanted to and didn't put enough pressure on them. In the last 2-3 games we have hit it straight to the fielders, lot of good shots going to the fielders. It has been a strange kind of phase in the last 4-5 games.

As the best batsman in the team and the captain, he needs to find his best touch and inspire his team to take them into the final.

Rashid Khan: He is SRH’s leading wicket-taker with 19 scalps at an economy of just 5.28. The batsmen try to be cautious against Rashid but he finds ways to arrest runs and get wickets. His four overs will be crucial in this match.
RCB Threats: Their recent form has been very poor. Can they turn things around quickly?
RCB Opportunities: If RCB had to select a team from the top three to face in the play-offs, they would have probably chosen SRH. This is their best chance to reach Qualifier 2.
RCB Weaknesses: The biggest issue is in the bowling. Only two bowlers – Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris Morris – have got 10 wickets or more. Washington Sundar bowls tight powerplay overs but hasn't been able to get enough wickets. Navdeep Saini hasn't fully from injury and Mohammed Siraj gives away too many runs. RCB need their bowlers to deliver to get past SRH.
RCB Strengths: Virat Kohli has three fifties, Devdutt Padikkal has five fifties and AB de Villiers has four fifties. The batting is formidable but some cracks are showing. Josh Philippe has been tried as an opener in recent matches but he hasn't made a strong enough impact. Should Aaron Finch be tried again? Or do they have the courage to try a new opening option like Moeen Ali? He has the fourth-best strike rate in the IPL across all seasons.

SRH Threats: The match is a virtual quarter-final. There are no second chances.
SRH Opportunities: RCB have been weak in the last four matches, so Hyderabad have a chance to get a victory and face Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2.
SRH Weaknesses: David Warner has again had to do the bulk of the scoring. The middle-order problems haven't been fixed but Wriddhiman Saha has provided much-needed stability at the top of the order. Kane Williamson has been assigned the responsibility of carrying the weight in the middle order but if he is removed, the team will be in trouble.
SRH Strengths: Four bowlers have snagged 10 or more wickets and the SRH attack has improved through the course of the tournament. Rashid Khan is a constant threat and T Natarajan has bowled the most number of yorkers this season. Sandeep Sharma has regularly picked wickets and Jason Holder has been an excellent addition to the bowling attack.
