Meanwhile, RR responded to the allegations made against them, denying the match-fixing angle.

Deep Roy, a senior official of the IPL team has responded and spoken to news agency IANS and called out the charges as 'false, baseless, and without any evidence'.

Who is Jaideep Bihani

Bihani is an BJP leader and represents the Ganganagar Assembly constituency from Sri Ganganagar district in Rajasthan.

RR has also raised a complaint to the chief minister, the sports minister and the sports secretary in the state and has demanded stringent action against Bihani for his 'baseless' allegations.

"We reject all allegations made by the convener of the ad hoc committee. Such public statements are not only misleading but have caused serious damage to the reputation and credibility of Rajasthan Royals, Royal Multi Sport Private Limited (RMPL), the Rajasthan Sports Council, and the BCCI. They also tarnish the integrity of cricket," an official statement from the RR said.
