Indian skipper Virat Kohli, along with many other senior players, underwent a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy here on Friday.

Kohli, who called off his country stint with Surrey owing to a neck injury, took the Yo-Yo Test in the presence of trainer Shankar Basu. In the first batch, along with Kohli, veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the test.

With the long tour of England beginning from July 3, the fitness test will determine the availability of the players. Kohli suffered a neck injury during the Indian Premier League season.
