Davis Cup: India concede doubles tie against SA

Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna were a set-all and down 0-4 in the third against Jeff Coetzee and Wesley Moodie when India opted to concede the contest.

Bhupathi was injured and could not continue with India trailing 3-6, 6-3, 0-4.
India still lead the tie 2-1 after Somdev Devvarman and Bopanna won the two opening singles Friday.

Somdev Devvarman overwhelmed Izak Van der Merwe 7-6 (5), 6-3 6-4  while Bopanna won 2-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-4  against Rik De Voest,South Africa's number one Rik De Voest, ranked 189 in the singles in the world.
India will have to win one of the two reverse singles Sunday to enter the World Group Finals for the first time since 1998.
