Delhi, led by Manan Sharma’s eight wicket-haul, asserted their might on a hapless Odisha and comfortably cruised to an innings and 150 runs win on the third day of their Ranji Trophy Group B match at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium on Thursday.

The win was Delhi’s fourth from five matches, third with a bonus point, and further cemented their place on the top of the table with 30 points. With three matches in the group to go, they have all but sealed their place in the quarterfinals.

After losing crucial overs following fog and bad light on Wednesday, the hosts made good use of a bright sunshine that allowed the match to start on schedule. Odisha, beginning the day on 25/1, crumbled like a pack of cards, with 19 wickets falling in the day!
