Football season is back again, with the 103rd edition of the FA Community Shield on Sunday kicking-off the return of the Premier League.
Sunday's clash sees reigning PL champions Liverpool take on FA Cup winners Crystal Palace, with the match being the latter's first showing in the Community Shield.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to secure their 17th Community Shield, coming off the back of a massive summer spending spree that saw manager Arne Slot strengthen his team to arguably one of the best in Europe, at least on paper.
Here's everything you need to know about the match.
The FA Community Shield will take place at 3 pm BST (7.30 pm IST) on Sunday, August 10.
With Palace serving as the home side, Liverpool are also set to unveil their new away kit for the 2025-26 season.
The clash between Crystal Palace and Liverpool will take place at the Wembley Stadium in London, where it has traditionally taken place for decades.
In most parts of the world, the FA Community Shield clash between Crystal Palace and Liverpool will be livestreamed on ESPN+.
In India, however, the match will be telecast by the Sony network.
For TV viewers, the match can be watched live on Sony TEN 1 and Sony Ten 1 HD.
For people watching from their phones or computers, the match will be livestreamed on Sony LIV.
Liverpool and Crystal Palace last clashed at Anfield on May 25 this year, with the tie ending 1-1, courtesy of goals by Ismalia Sarr and Mohamed Salah.
The previous meeting between the two was on October 5 last year, where Liverpool came out on top by slim margins, winning the match 1-0, courtesy a goal by Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away in an accident recently.
